Pennsylvania College Technology Programs
With their belief that tomorrow begins today, the Pennsylvania College of Technology has created a variety of summer programs for teens. These programs are geared towards kids looking to explore career opportunities in a variety of sectors.
Below are the trade-specific programs available, but there are a few others as well.
June
- Architecture Odyssey – grades 10-12
- Automotive Technology – grades 10-12
- Aviation – grades 10-12
- Engineering – grades 10-12
- Future Restaurateurs – grades 9-12
- Health Careers – grades 9-12
July
- Landscape + Horticulture – grades 9-12
- Automotive Restoration – grades 10-12
- Diesel Truck + Heavy Equipment – grades 10-12
- Emergency Response – grades 9-12
- Baking – grades 9-12
- Graphic Design – grades 10-12
- Non-Destructive Testing – grades 10-12
- Thingamajig Fabricators – grades 9-12
Some of the camps are free, while others range from $100-$500. Each program is a different length of time.
They also offer a special career exploration camp for kids in grades 6-8 which is a 4-day immersive experience to feel out several different careers.
