Deciding to become a plumber is a great idea and can set you up for a very comfortable future. The best way to get into the plumbing field is a combination of education and an apprenticeship.
While some do get into it working as an apprentice with no formal education, the education will help you further your career.
When you graduate from a plumbing school, you can then go to work as a journeyman plumber. After a few years you can then obtain master plumber status which brings higher earnings and more opportunity.
